Daytime footage showed what remained of Tropicana Field’s fiberglass roof blowing in the wind on Thursday, October 10, a day after Hurricane Milton slammed Florida’s west coast with powerful winds, heavy rain, and storm surges.Milton made landfall near Siesta Key, Florida, as a Category 3 storm on Wednesday night, bringing winds up to 120 mph.According to a local news report, Milton caused several construction crane collapses, in addition to tearing the roof off the stadium.
