At least 18 people were killed and 40 others were missing after catastrophic flooding and landslides hit parts of Bosnia October 3 and 4, according to the Croatian Red Cross.The worst-affected area was Jablanica, a town in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, where at least 16 of the victims were found, reports said. Two other bodies were found in Fojnica, about 20 miles north of Jablanica.Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Becirovic wrote on Facebook that he visited Jablanica and approved sending helicopters from the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina to assist in responding to the natural disaster.Local news outlet Bljesak.info captured this footage showing the extent of damage in the town.
