Fire crews continued to battle the Line Fire in southern California on Thursday, October 3, which prompted
additional evacuations in the region on Wednesday, authorities said.By Thursday, the fire burned 43,922 acres and was 79 percent contained, according to
forest officials.The fire first started on September 5,
according to CalFire, and was
previously 83 percent contained as of September 29. The fire shifted and new evacuation orders
