A police officer was killed, and four civilians injured, in a shooting attack on a highway in central Israel on October 15, local police said.Police said a gunman “approached the main road on foot, shot a policeman and then continued on a shooting spree and wounded four more civilians, until he was neutralized by a civilian.”One of those injured was a doctor who had “stopped his car to treat the injured and was hit by another car,” according to the Times of Israel.Magen David Adom published footage and images from the scene.
