Dozens of pro-Palestinian demonstrators rallied outside the New York Stock Exchange next to Wall Street on October 7, marking one year since a Hamas-led attack on Israel left more than 1,200 people dead and prompted the latest conflict in Gaza. The demonstration was organized by the Within Our Lifetime (WOL) protest group which dubbed it “Flood New York City for Palestine.”This footage from WOL shows a large Palestinian flag unfurled over the road at the corner of Broad Street and Exchange Place while protesters chant “Free Palestine” and “Gaza.”A small number of pro-Israeli demonstrators held a counter-protest as a line of police officers separated the two groups, local media
reported.Organizers then led protesters on a march toward City Hall. They
planned to continue marching through the city, stopping at various locations, before finishing at Columbus Circle at 6 pm. Credit: @WOLPalestine via Storyful
