Satellite imagery captured on Thursday, October 10, shows Hurricane Milton moving eastward over the Atlantic Ocean after bringing damaging wind and rain to a large swath of Florida.This timelapse animation was posted by the Colorado-based Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA), which said it depicts a roughly 2.5-hour period from 7:44 am to 10:11 am Eastern Time.Though the storm was moving away from Florida, weather officials warned that dangerous storm surge remained possible along the state’s eastern coast.
