Activists dressed as angels
staged a protest at the El Paso Norte Bridge between Ciudad Juarez and El Paso on Thursday, January 23, to support migrants and oppose the policies of President Donald Trump.
Carlos Mayorga, leader of the religious activist group, said on local TV that the protest was staged in solidarity with all deported migrants, “especially those living in poverty who are being deported by US authorities,” and those stranded in Mexico after the CBP One program’s cancellation.A Biden-era Customs and Border Protection immigration app, CBP One, ceased functioning as Trump was sworn in on Monday, reports
