Firefighters quickly gained the upper hand on a vegetation fire in Hemet, California, on Thursday, January 23.The fire, dubbed the Gibbel Fire, was first reported at 4:40 pm Thursday afternoon, and had burned around three to four acres, Cal Fire said.Cal Fire and the Riverside County Fire Department quickly responded and halted the forward progress of the fire at 15 acres by 6:30 pm.This footage, captured by @firevalleyphoto, shows crews douse the fire with fire retardant.
