Firefighters rescued a goat that found itself stuck in a precarious position on a fifth-floor window ledge in Madrid, Spain, on Tuesday, February 18.This footage by Bomberos Madrid shows firefighters using carrots and lettuce to coax the goat off the window ledge and onto a nearby balcony.According to a report from Telemadrid, the apartment connected to the balcony had been vacant for “some time” and the incident was reported by a concerned neighbor who said the animal came from “heaven.” Authorities were not able to find the owner of the goat, according to Telemadrid.Bomberos Madrid said the goat was transferred to a local emergency veterinarian service, which would be responsible for rehoming it.
