A suspected tornado caused damage to homes and other buildings in New Caney, north of Houston in Montgomery County, amid an outbreak of severe storms in the region on Saturday, December 28.This footage shows residents inspecting damage to properties in a housing development outside New Caney now called The Canopies, and formerly known as Harrington Trails.Among the buildings impacted was a local fire station which “sustained extensive damage,” according to the East Montgomery County Fire Department. “Despite the challenges, we remain fully operational and committed to serving our community.
