Snow 'Finally' Falls in Northern Arizona

The National Weather Service (NWS) warned that northern Arizona was expected to get between 1 and 5 inches of snow on Monday, January 27.The weather service put a winter weather advisory in place for the Coconino Plateau, Grand Canyon Country, Western Mogollon Rim, and Yavapai County Mountains areas on Monday.“Snow showers will increase this morning, especially west of Flagstaff,” the NWS said.Monday afternoon into Monday night, the snow was expected to become “more widespread and spread eastward into the Flagstaff area,” according to the NWS.A video posted by X user @bobthe1dog shows the snow showers beginning just northwest of Flagstaff.“Finally, snow is falling in northern Arizona!” they wrote.The NWS said that Flagstaff was expected to get between 2 and 4 inches of snow.
