A vacationer in Santa Ponsa, Spain, was peeved to see that her fellow resort guests had been up early to stake out spots next to the pool with towels, saying they were “more tactical, skilled, and hated than ANY sports team in the world.”Footage uploaded on July 20 by Rebekah Smith shows tourists waiting by an almost endless array of towels spread across the AstroTurf deck of the resort’s pool, which she claims to have been a “British effort.”She explains in the caption of her video that since sun-beds are only unlocked at 9 am, there was a “mass gathering of towels from as early as 5 am to gain prime spot.”“No towel down by 7 am, no poolside space for your family,” Smith wrote in her caption. “Think of it as a British hybrid version of musical chairs meets The Hunger Games.” Credit: Rebekah Smith via Storyful
