Artist Travels From Texas to Create Memorial for Those Killed in DC Air Disaster

An artist has traveled from Texas to the DC area to create a memorial to the 67 people killed in the January 29 air collision near Reagan National Airport.Roberto Marquez went to a patch of ground between a parking lot and a freeway near the airport, and began putting up crosses there. Timelapse footage from Marquez show part of that installation process, as others come to help out.The National Catholic Reporter said that 67 crosses were in place by Tuesday afternoon, February 4.
