Snow fell on parts of Kansas on Tuesday morning, February 18, as temperatures
dropped to “brutally cold” levels, the National Weather Service (NWS)
said.According to the weather service, the air temperature was -6 Fahrenheit (-21 Celsius) with a wind chill bringing the real feel to -25 F (-32 C). Total snow accumulations of up to 6 inches were possible for portions of northwest Kansas by Tuesday night, the NWS

said.“If you absolutely must venture outdoors, make sure to wear appropriate clothing. Dress in multiple layers, including a hat and gloves,” the weather service
