Soccer fans gathered in New York’s Times Square to celebrate the unveiling of a statue of Cristiano Ronaldo on Wednesday, February 5, the day of the footballer’s 40th birthday.This footage filmed by Angel Guananga shows fans chanting “Cristiano” and roaring “Siu,” the iconic celebration used by Ronaldo after scoring goals, as a truck carried the sculpture.Siu means ‘yes’ in Portuguese, Ronaldo’s native tongue.According to news reports, the bronze statue by sculptor Sergio Furnari is 12 feet high.
