Thundery downpours on Wednesday, January 29, brought flash flooding to the Dallas-Fort Worth area.The National Weather Service (NWS)
reported that record rain for that date, of 2.8 inches, was measured, breaking the old record of 0.93 inches set on the same day in 1999.Chad Casey captured footage of cars splashing through ponding on the road and lightning.“Lots of ponding here in Fort Worth.
