German and French Foreign Ministers Tour Notorious Syrian Prison

The French and German foreign ministers toured Syria’s notorious Sednaya prison on Friday, January 3, in the company of members of the Syria Civil Defence, or White Helmets.Footage by Obada Jbara shows French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot and his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock visiting the complex .The director of the White Helmets, Raed al-Saleh, previously described the prison as a “human slaughterhouse.”Barrot and Baerbock also met Syria’s de facto leader, Ahmed al-Sharaa, in Damascus.
