Opponents and supporters of South Korea’s President Yoon Suk Yeol gathered in Seoul on January 3, as the country’s anti-corruption agency suspended an attempt to arrest him after an hours-long standoff with presidential security.Footage posted online by X user @on_you_khj shows a crowd of protesters chanting. @on_you_khj captioned the footage “Let’s go to jail Yoon Suk Yeol.”Yoon faces a criminal investigation into his declaration of martial law on December 3.According to local news, the Corruption Investigation Office for High-Ranking Officials was expected to make another attempt to detain Yoon at the weekend.
