Officers from an NYPD Emergency Service Unit were able to bring to safety a man who climbed onto the Brooklyn Bridge over the weekend, despite him lashing out and trying to pull at an officer’s safety harness.Despite the man being “combative”, the team managed “to safely take him into custody and transported him to the hospital for a medical evaluation,” the NYPD said.
