Students in Madison, Wisconsin, walked out of classes and marched to the state capitol building on Friday, December 20, demanding reformed gun laws in light of a deadly school shooting in the city on

local reports, Madison Metropolitan School District students had planned the walkout “to honor those affected by the deadly shooting at Abundant Life Christian School” and to push for improved gun-control measures.Footage taken by Representative Francesca Hong shows students inside the capitol building in Madison on Friday, chanting, “No more silence, end gun violence.”“Thank you to all of the Madison high school students that braved the cold to come protest gun violence at the capitol.
