Florida deputies used rafts to rescue citizens trapped in their homes due to severe flooding in Tampa on Thursday, October 10, after Hurricane Milton hit the region on Wednesday.Footage released by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) shows heavily flooded streets in HCSO District 1 in Tampa on Thursday, as deputies use rafts to rescue trapped citizens.Officers can be seen lifting a person from their home onto a raft, while nearby officers can be seen walking two people through flooded water toward another vessel.According to the Tampa Bay Times, Milton brought over a foot of rainfall to the region on Wednesday.
