As winter conditions bring masses of disruptive snow and ice, local workers in Altay in China's Xinjiang province, are keeping their power lines safe and operational with the help of drones. Footage from mid-December captured drones equipped with a dangling de-icing stick being skillfully piloted to knock the ice off the lines.
