Long lines of traffic could be seen in Hollywood on January 8 as evacuations were ordered affecting at least 130,000 people amid fires in the LA area that were destroying hundreds of buildings.Footage filmed by Instagram user @el.aleks.85 shows a busy street near the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and La Brea Avenue.“Everybody trying to get out,” @el.aleks.85 says, before panning to reveal the Sunset Fire in the hills nearby.Residents in portions of Mulholland Drive, Laurel Canyon Boulevard, and down to Hollywood Boulevard
were ordered to evacuate from the Sunset Fire, while areas to the west were warned of “potential threat to life and/or property.”Evacuations were in place for many more areas, as multiple fires burned.
