Irish Leader Confirms Santa Officially Allowed to Enter Country's Airspace
Santa Claus has been granted permission to enter Irish airspace to deliver presents.Ireland’s taoiseach, or prime minister, Leo Varadkar confirmed Santa’s status while speaking in parliament on December 13.“I would like to confirm that Santa Claus has permission to enter Irish airspace and to cross our borders on December 24 through December 25,” he said.“I want to thank IAA (Irish Aviation Authority), INIS (Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service), Department of Agriculture, and the Revenue Commissioners for allowing the necessary exemptions to occur,” he added.
