Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the site of a deadly rocket attack on a soccer pitch in Majdal Shams, Golan Heights, on July 29.
At least 12 people between the
ages of 10 and 20 were killed when a rocket hit the field on July 27, according to Israeli officials.Netanyahu said: “We were shocked to the core by this terrible carnage. Hezbollah with Iranian backing, launched an Iranian missile here, which took the lives of 12 pure souls.”Netanyahu said, “Do not lose hope in the face of the acts of harassment by the evil axis of Iran and Hezbollah.”The Israel Defense Forces
said Hezbollah fired around 40 projectiles toward the Golan Heights in three separate barrages, with a direct hit in the Druze-majority city of Majdal Shams. Hezbollah has
