Two lionesses rescued from Ukraine completed their quarantine period on November 14 at Belgium’s Pairi Daiza zoo, after arriving on September 20, the zoo
said.Footage released by the zoo shows the lionesses, named Amani and Lira, exploring their new home. They now occupy an area next to the habitat of resident white tigers Mumbai and Sanka, separated by a glass wall.The zoo said it had implemented strict quarantine protocols upon their arrival to protect the lionesses and the park’s other animals.
