A protester was seen being arrested outside Barnard College in Manhattan on February 27, after the police dispersed a pro-Palestinian demonstration that rallied to condemn the recent expulsion of students involved in activism on campus.In footage filmed by The Urban Warrior, the NYPD can be seen dispersing the demonstration outside the college before a man in a lilac shirt is pulled from the crowd. He is then later seen chanting “Allahu Akbar” back at a crowd of demonstrators as he is led away by police with his hands tied behind his back.Two students were expelled for their disruption of an Israeli history class on January 21, according to the student group Columbia University Apartheid DivestDozens of protesters staged a sit-in outside the office of the dean of the college the day previous, demanding the reversal of the decision.
