Scientists at the University of Richmond in Virginia have taught rats to drive tiny cars 'akin to the rodent version of Tesla's Cybertruck'. Since 2019, rodents have learned to use lever-controlled rat-operated vehicles (ROVs), receiving a Froot Loop reward with each journey. But new research, published on November 11, suggest the rats enjoy their 'joy rides' even when there is no reward.
