Residents in southwest Virginia were amazed to witness a meteor flashing through the sky outside their home in the early hours of Friday, August 30.This surveillance footage was posted to Facebook by Marissa South, who said it was filmed in Big Stone Gap.“My husband watched it happen from the window, but wasn’t sure what it was, so we rolled the cameras back and found it,” Marissa told Storyful.Multiple sightings of a fireball were reported across parts of Tennessee, Virginia, and South Carolina, according to local media.
