said a “bomb cyclone” was expected to bring powerful wind gusts to most of Vancouver Island and the BC coast, with “hurricane-force gusts” of up to 120 km/h predicted.Environment Canada said that a “significant fall storm” was set to impact the BC coast beginning on Tuesday, bringing “very windy conditions”.
