Satellite imagery captured the growth of devastating wildfires that erupted in Southern California from Tuesday, January 7, to Thursday, January 9.The imagery, released by the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere at Colorado State University (CSU/CIRA), shows the Palisades, Eaton, and Hurst fires burning in Los Angeles from Tuesday to Thursday.The Palisades Fire can be seen burning on Tuesday, followed by the Eaton and Hurst fires on Wednesday.According to Cal Fire, the Palisades Fire was zero percent contained as of Thursday, while the Hurst fire was 10 percent contained.
