Timelapse fire-monitoring cameras captured dawn breaking on day three of the Palisades and Eaton fires in northern Los Angeles on Thursday, January 9.The first five timelapses in this video depict the Palisades Fire as viewed from the City of Santa Monica and from Topanga Peak and Saddle Peak in the Santa Monica Mountains. The sixth timelapse shows the Eaton Fire as viewed from a mountain peak near Burbank.Both fires were ignited on Tuesday - the Palisades Fire in the morning and the Eaton Fire in the evening.
