A Texas patient with down syndrome was blown away when two of her favourite Disney princesses came to visit her in hospital last December, thanks to the kindness of an ICU nurse.When ICU nurse manager DeeDee Moseley learned that 38-year-old patient Marlyn Limon loves Disney princesses, she knew just how to brighten Limon’s day.While hospitalized for several weeks with a respiratory-related condition in Memorial Hermann Medical Center, Limon spent her time drawing princesses, gifting her artwork to the nurses on her care team.In return, Moseley and the team then gave Limon the ultimate gift: a chance to meet her two favorite Disney princesses in person.Belle and Tiana surprised Limon by coming to her hospital room, where they read, sang, and colored with Limon.Staff at Memorial Hermann have said that after recovering, Marlyn is now back home.
