Multiple people were injured in an incident on a chairlift at the Spanish ski resort of Astun on Saturday, January 18, local media reported.A Navarra Television report citing the Government of Aragon said 17 people were seriously injured.Footage released by the Guardia Civil shows a large crowd gathered below the stationary chairlift from the air and an emergency crew being delivered to the mountainside by a helicopter.Aragon President Jorge Azcon said he was traveling to scene. “All necessary services are working to care for affected and injured people,” he wrote on X.The cause of the incident was under investigation.
