Flash Flooding Hits North-Central Arkansas After 12 Inches of Rain Falls

Weather warnings were in effect for parts of north central Arkansas on Wednesday morning, July 17, as heavy rain caused “life-threatening flash flooding” across the region, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.According to the NWS, between 6 and 12 inches of rain had already fallen as of 8:27 am across north-central Arkansas, with additional rainfall amounts up to 3 inches in the forecast.Footage taken by @FallApollo shows conditions at a park in Flippin on Wednesday morning.
