Hamas Releases Fourth Batch of Hostages to International Red Cross

Hamas said it released 11 more hostages from Gaza on Monday, November 27, on the fourth day of the original four-day ceasefire agreement.Video released by Hamas’s al-Qassam Brigades shows militants handing some of the captives over to Red Cross workers in Gaza. Most of the hostages seen in this video appear to be minors.The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office released the names and ages of the Israeli hostages returned on Monday. Among the hostages were children as young as three.The Qatari government confirmed a total of 11 hostages were released by Hamas on Sunday, including three French citizens, two German citizens, and six Argentinian citizens. The Qatari government said 33 Palestinian prisoners would be released in exchange for the hostages, which will include 30 minors and three women.On Monday Qatar announced that an agreement had been reached to extend the ceasefire for an additional two days.
