A storm chaser in Port Bolivar, Texas, captured slow-motion footage documenting bright lightning amid weather warnings in the area on September 13.Neil Davis, a Galveston based storm chaser, recorded this footage and posted it with a caption describing the night as “electric.”Davis said he went outside and saw “bolts hitting within a few miles.”“It was pretty thrilling,” he said, adding that the “lightning strikes were slowed down in video to capture more detail of the bolts.”The National Weather Service issued a special marine warning for the area, and reported strong thunderstorms offshore.
