Heavy snow slowed traffic to a crawl in Utah’s Cottonwood Canyons on Saturday, January 4, as the National Weather Service (NWS) warned of additional accumulations up to 20 inches.This footage shows conditions on Utah State Routes 190 and 210, where road treatment was “slow going due to heavy snow and high volumes of traffic,” said the Utah Department of Transportation (DOT). “Many vehicles struggling with conditions/slide offs and there is fully stopped traffic in both canyons/Wasatch,” they said.A winter weather advisory was in effect for the Wasatch Mountains until 11 pm on Saturday.
