A 23-year-old mother was killed by her brother during an argument over Christmas gifts in Largo, Florida, police said.Abrielle Baldwin, her mother, two brothers, and two sons, had travelled to her grandmother’s house after going Christmas shopping on Sunday, December 24, when a “verbal altercation” over gifts began, Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said.During the altercation, 14-year-old Damarcus Coley shot Abrielle in the chest while she held her 11-month-old son, Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri said in a press conference.Abrielle was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead, according to the sheriff’s office.Shortly after shooting Abrielle, Damarcus was shot by his 15-year-old brother, Darcus, the sheriff’s office said.Damarcus was charged with first degree murder, child abuse, and delinquency in possession of a firearm, according to the sheriff’s office. He was transported to a local hospital where he remains in custody.Darcus was arrested and charged with attempted first degree murder and tampering with physical evidence, the sheriff’s office said.
