Metro Atlanta saw significant snow for the first time in three years on January 10, as the National Weather Service warned a winter storm was in store for parts of Georgia heading into the weekend.Footage recorded by Nick Ortloff in Duluth shows what he described as “madness from the snowpocalypse”.The NWS issued a winter storm warning for the area, saying that they were becoming “increasingly concerned with the potential for damaging freezing rain accumulation”.The Atlanta Journal-Constitution said hundreds of flights were cancelled, and power outages were being reported.
