The posters were spotted nearly a week after UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was fatally shot while walking to a meeting in Midtown Manhattan on December 4.The posters display the names of several health care CEOs, including Thompson, whose photo has a large red X through it. The names and photos of Heather Cianfrocco, CEO of OptumHealth, and Andrew Witty, CEO of UnitedHealth Group, can also be seen.The words “deny,” “defend,” and “depose,” can be seen at the bottom of the posters, echoing the engravings on the bullet casings left at the crime scene.The posters were gone when Stephanie returned to the site on Wednesday, she said.According to ABC News, the New York Police Department issued a bulletin on Tuesday, emphasizing the “heightened risk environment for health care executives” following Thompson’s killing.Authorities on December 9 charged 26-year-old Luigi Mangione with murder over the fatal shooting of Thompson.
