Graupel and snow dusted a ski resort west of Las Vegas, Nevada, on Friday, May 10, days after the resort ended winter operations for the season.Footage posted to X by user @mountainman_mc shows graupel and snow falling in Lee Canyon, a ski resort located about 50 miles west of Las Vegas. According to Lee Canyon’s website, the resort averages more than 161 inches of snowfall annually.Summer operations at Lee Canyon are scheduled to begin on May 24, but visitors are welcome to scenic chair rides and on-mountain dining during the next two weekends.
