A girl awaiting a heart transplant had a touching father-daughter moment at a children’s hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, after she was unable to attend a school dance.This footage was released by Cleveland Clinic Children’s, who said that Ava, a 10-year-old born with several congenital heart defects, usually attended a father-daughter dance at this time of year at her school, so caregivers decided to recreate the experience at the hospital.After Ava had her hair and makeup done by her mother, she met her father, Sean, outside her room before a medical team helped escort her to the specially decorated dance room.Cleveland Clinic Children’s said Ava has been in hospital for more than 200 days awaiting a donor heart.
