The NYPD and FDNY were looking for a man who attempted to set an apartment building on fire in the Bronx on March 4, according to local news reports.Surveillance footage provided by Katrina Curanaj, who told Storyful she owned part of the building, shows the individual pouring gasoline on the sidewalk, along the building, before lighting a fire and escaping on foot shortly after 2am on Tuesday.“I noticed a black large spot on my sidewalk (…) which was not there the day before,” Curanaj, who said she knew her property very well, told Storyful. “So I looked at my surveillance cameras that I have on the property and discovered this man setting the building on fire.”Curanaj, who said she doesn’t know this individual, told Storyful she hoped authorities would find and arrest the suspect after sharing the video.
