Three mountaineers were rescued from the Pico Almanzor, a mountain peak in central Spain, over the weekend, after one of them had a fall and sustained a potential head injury, according to

Tribuna de Avila, the rescuers were alerted in the early afternoon of Saturday after a 26-year-old woman suffered a fall during her hike.The woman was being helped by two other mountaineers when the rescuers got to the scene.Strong winds and the difficult terrain made the rescue operation particularly complicated, Spanish news reports
