Mesmerizing lava flowed, bubbled, and belched during an eruption on Iceland’s Reykjanes Peninsula, newly released footage recorded on April 3 shows.Drone photographer Jeroen Van Nieuwenhove captured this video as a series of volcanic craters erupted on the peninsula in early spring.“I focus a lot on extreme details during these eruptions as now we have the technology to show these details that were very difficult to observe before,” Nieuwenhove told Storyful.The region has experienced seven eruptions this year as of December, according to local reports.
