The US Capitol on Tuesday, January 7, prepared for the arrival of former president Jimmy Carter’s body; Carter will lie in state in the rotunda until his state funeral on Thursday.Footage filmed and posted to X by Missouri Representative Mark Alford shows preparations underway in the US Capitol Rotunda on Tuesday morning.
