Sacramento firefighters were called in to rescue two cats from a tree on Tuesday, March 15, but it wasn’t any ordinary cat-in-a-tree story. The two cats were stuck in the tree because of a rising Sacramento River. The river surrounded them, trapping the cats in the tree.The Front Street Animal Shelter created a ramp for the two cats, but they wouldn’t use it. That’s when firefighters were called in to help.
