Police and rescue teams in Middle Township, New Jersey, acted fast to save a newborn baby’s life back in November, after a concerned mother reported that her one-week-old infant had stopped breathing.Footage from Middle Township Police Department shows the moment officer Chris Rudy arrived at the scene on November 28 following what police called a “frantic” 911 call.The officer took the infant from her mother and immediately began performing CPR. Police said the baby was blue in colour and cold to the touch.Directly after officer Rudy arrived, an ambulance from AtlantiCare pulled up and the officer handed the baby to the rescue team.After the first round of CPR, the baby regained consciousness and was subsequently transported to hospital for further examination, police said.
