Satellite imagery captured recovery efforts underway on the Potomac River on Thursday, January 30, following the deadly airplane and helicopter collision near Reagan National Airport on Wednesday evening.This imagery was captured by Maxar Technologies, which said it shows “recovery operations in progress in the Potomac River east of the airport, including several boats gathered near probable aircraft wreckage debris in the river and other emergency response vessels nearby.”DC police said on Thursday that many first responders had been on duty for over 14 hours since initially responding to the incident.
